When it comes to design or photography I believe the product should reflect the company or people being represented. I sit down with my design clients and talk about who they are, who their target audience is and what they want their product to convey to the public before I begin sketching out my ideas with paper and pencil. I believe in working closely with clients to develop branding that they feel confident in, while still guiding them with my many years of experience in marketing and professional training as a designer.
My photography clients get much the same treatment, because I believe that photographs should tell you something about the people in them. That is why I do not work in a studio, but rather perfer to work on location at sites that have meaning for the families I document.
All of my clients receive a cd of what I have created for them so they have complete control of the designs and photographs and can use them as they see fit. This means no needing to browse galleries for a certain photo package, you have them all in your hands to print however many, whatever sizes you may want.
